Adult Enrichment 2020-2021
The MN CPR Pet CPR Certification program is designed to train the participant in canine and feline CPR and First Aid. Students will learn how to respond to a pet in an emergency situation before getting them to the veterinarian. This class will cover managing common medical emergencies including shock, allergic reactions, burns, wounds and bandaging, trauma, poisoning, choking, and more. Students will learn how to perform Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) with a pet mannequin to stimulate real world scenarios. Our Pet CPR & First Aid Certification is ideal for professionals in animal related industries or those who love animals including: pet sitters, obedience trainers, kennel workers, pet retailers, groomers, animal shelter volunteers, rescue personnel, first responders, and pet owners.
MN CPR is committed to preparing people for emergencies. This dedicated team of Instructors is led by Jordan Peterson. Jordan believes that lifelong learning is essential, so he continues to pursue CPR and First Aid knowledge, even as he teaches and trains. Most classes are sanctioned through American Red Cross. Jordan also certifies using American Safety and Health Institute and has created his own Pet CPR program.
