Adult Enrichment 2020-2021

Women are the core of the family, and the family is the unit of the social fabric, especially in Muslim Society. Learn about the role of women in Muslim society and the importance of social justice while comparing political situations in the Muslim world that are shaping the media's presentation of Islam. Q&A will take place while going in depth on these topics. Class is interactive and there is time for Q/A along with a light dinner served.

Mashood Yunus

Instructor

Mashood Yunus is originally from Pakistan. He was raised in the United Arab Emirates and came to the United States in 1992. He finished his Bachelor's Degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Mankato State University. Mashood has been currently volunteering as a representative for Building Blocks of Islam for 15 years. He is also teaching Islam 100 classes and leading Quranic Arabic classes.
