About Middle School Enrichment

The school day may be over by the fun and learning can still go on! Join us for after-school enrichment classes. Enrichment classes offer new learning experiences!

  • Did you know you can receive texts from us? When you log into your Tridistrict Eleyo account, select the 'can receive SMS' messaging button next to your cell phone number in your account information section. In case of a last minute class cancelations, this allows to get information out to you quickly.
  • Please make sure your email and phone number are up to date when registering for a class.
  • For classes Dodge Nature Center or Two Rivers High School, your student can take the activity bus to Dodge or Two Rivers for the class. At Dodge Nature Center they will need to be picked up at the end of class time at Dodge. If the class is at Two Rivers it will be over for kids to take the activity bus home at 5:30pm. Please check routes on the transportation webpage. 
  • Requests for cancellations/refunds must be received by our office 7 days prior to the first class session. A $10 service charge will be applied to your refund.

ROCC--Residents of Color Collective is offering their program ROCC Climbers for BIPOC youth after-school at Friendly Hills. **There is no charge to register but please sign up so ROCC is able to plan for activities. Developing our youth to climb the world! BIPOC students can join us after-school as we CREATE, LEAD, INSPIRE, MOTIVATE & BUILD! This is a youth development and leadership opportunity for BIPOC youth at Friendly Hills. We will create an energetic safe space that promotes self-love and awareness, love of culture and a love of nature. This spring we will focus on becoming Healthy Climbers! We will learn about: Self-Love: Safe Choices Leadership and Life Skills Engaging in Healthy Communication Creating Healthy Relationships Kids can take the activity bus home at 5:15pm or be picked up at 5pm at the school. Parlez-vous francais? Part Deux! (Grades: 5-7)
Friendly Hills Enrichment

Join us as we review basic French greetings and learn simple conversations. We will write a letter to our French pen pals, who live near the southern city of Toulon, France. We will continue our exploration of France, as we watch part of a french film, listen to la musique pop de la France, and learn how to make French beignets/doughnuts. Class 1: Introductions, Learn/review greetings & map of Paris; play Paris monuments game Class 2: Review, learn vocabulary: #s,colors; Learn and write- questions for classmates & penpals ;Write pen pal letters. If time play game in French outside(weather permitting). Class 3: Review, learn vocabulary #s, & commands for playing Battleship in French Class 4: Review, learn vocabulary for the Questions game in French and play game Class 5: Review; Make French beignets/doughnuts *All levels are welcome. Archery with Dodge Nature Center (Grades: 5-8)
Middle School Enrichment

Archery with Dodge Nature Center **Only students participating in the ROCC Youth Leadership program after-school this school year can sign up for the ROCC section and rate. First time archers? Learn all the basics about bows and arrow in a safe and friendly environment. Experienced instructors will teach you everything you need to know to safely use bows and arrows. This class is a great entry into the sport of archery. Kids will be able to take the activity bus from Friendly Hills or Heritage to Dodge Nature Center You can also drop your student off at Dodge if you prefer at the Marie Entrance. **Kids will have to be picked up at Dodge Nature Center Marie Entrance, by 5pm by a parent or guardian--the activity bus is not provided to get home. If a student is picked up later than 5pm a charge will be applied by Dodge Nature Center for a late pick-up. Grades 5-8 welcome. Class is limited to 10 students, register early!! **Los niños podrán tomar el autobús de actividades desde Friendly Hills o Heritage hasta el centro natural Dodge, los dejarán en la entrada de Marie y serán recibidos por el personal del Dodge.
