The course fee includes: 30 hours of classroom instruction Six hours of behind the wheel instruction. Participants missing a class must wait for the next session to make up missed time on the same day that was missed. For example if you miss day 3, you must make up day 3 to ensure the topic you missed is covered. **Orders are sent in to GRASP on Monday May 1st. No late registrations will be taken. **Please make sure your address/email/phone number in your Tridistrict account are all up to date in order to receive correspondence from GRASP. GRASP is a nine-week correspondence program which helps students maintain reading and math skills while they are on summer vacation. It should take you and your child approximately one hour per week for nine weeks to complete each weekly lesson. We suggest parents order the grade level just completed. If there are extenuating circumstances, order the level that is appropriate for your child. Prices include curriculum packet, completion awards and scoring service. GRASP has 9 lessons to be submitted during the summer—one per week. Each lesson reinforces the basic skills typically found in most curricula at that particular grade level. GRASP staff score the lesson and return it to the student with comments. Please select the correct GRASP Section: You can order 1 subject for your student for $38.00, either math or reading. Upon registering you will fill out a questionnaire on your students school, grade and select either the math or reading booklet. If you select the section for both subjects the cost is $58.00, you will fill out a questionnaire for the grade level preferred for each subject. You can choose different grade levels for reading and math. Books will be delivered to your child's school and handed out by their homeroom teacher in late May/early June.

School District 197 Youth Enrichment Community Education is pleased to partner with Advantage Educational Programs. For the past 26 years, Advantage Educational Programs benefited thousands of students in Minnesota by preparing them for the college entrance exams. They offer ACT Preparatory Courses in more than forty high schools in Minneapolis/St. Paul and the surrounding area. Online ACT Preparatory Course This course is an excellent alternative for any student unable to attend in-school classes or for a student preferring to prepare for the ACT exam on their own, and study at their desired pace. The fee for this course is $80, and you may repeat the course at no charge until you graduate from high school. The online course will allow students to log-in for the course and proceed at their own pace. The course will be using Google Classroom to present the online course and it will be equivalent to the 12 hour classroom time. The course will use instructors' videos, voice-overs, illustrations, and slides that guide you through all of the testing areas of the ACT. You will also be able to communicate with the instructor when you have questions or concerns. **If you are on free/reduced lunch please contact us for a scholarship. **You will need a gmail account to access the google classroom. Your student's isd197.org account that is managed by google will not work--ISD197 blocks access to google classrooms outside the 197 domain. Intro to Sewing Class Kids will be learning how to sew, including basic sewing techniques, knowledge of sewing tools and different kinds of stitches. Students will practice sewing with a sewing machine. They will create a sketch of garment or craft and sew a project of their own creation. All material and tools provided. Virtual ACT Prep Class This course is an excellent alternative for any student unable to attend an in-person class, but still prefers the interaction with one of the Advantage Educational Programs' instructors. The Virtual ACT Prep Course is the same as the In-Person ACT Prep Course, but from the comfort of your own home. The instructors teach live via virtual classroom and are available to answer questions if needed. Archery with Dodge Nature Center **Only students participating in the ROCC Youth Leadership program after-school this school year can sign up for the ROCC section and rate. First time archers? Learn all the basics about bows and arrow in a safe and friendly environment. Experienced instructors will teach you everything you need to know to safely use bows and arrows. This class is a great entry into the sport of archery. Kids will be able to take the activity bus from Friendly Hills or Heritage to Dodge Nature Center You can also drop your student off at Dodge if you prefer at the Marie Entrance. **Kids will have to be picked up at Dodge Nature Center Marie Entrance, by 5pm by a parent or guardian--the activity bus is not provided to get home. If a student is picked up later than 5pm a charge will be applied by Dodge Nature Center for a late pick-up. Grades 5-8 welcome. Learn how to properly speak your lines, block a scene, develop your character and much more! All that is needed are comfortable clothing and lightweight sneakers or dance shoes, a nut free snack and a water bottle. Friends and family are invited to a special performance beginning the final 30 minutes of the final class. **Class takes place in the Black Box Theatre at Two Rivers High School. June 10-13 M-TH

In this thrilling summer camp, students will use their imagination and learn Spanish vocabulary related to their favorite themes~ superheroes, princesses, magic, dinosaurs, mermaids, unicorns, and more! Each class students will explore age-appropriate adventures– All in Spanish! Basic conversation and Spanish vocabulary such as colors and counting will be incorporated to build on their skills each week. Class will include interactive activities learning Spanish vocabulary and practical conversation elements. Join us on a magical adventure! Appropriate for incoming students in Grades 1- 5 with any level of Spanish experience Instructor: Futura Languages Staff

A class for those interested in assisting swim instructors emphasizing lesson levels and proper teaching techniques. A great class for students ages 13 and up who love water, enjoy working with children, and are considering seeking future employment as a Water Safety Instructor or Lifeguard (WSI/LG). There will be an opportunity after completion of this session to volunteer and get hands-on experience during our summer swim lessons. Students who complete this course can continue to volunteer in our aquatics program to build their skills and resume for future job opportunities in the aquatics field.
