  • Advantage ACT Prep Course - Virtual with Live Instructor

    Virtual ACT Prep Class - Live Instructor This course is an excellent alternative for any student unable to attend an in-school class, but still prefers the interaction with one of the Advantage Educational Programs' instructors. The Virtual ACT Prep Course is the same as the In-School ACT Prep Course, but from the comfort of your own home. The instructors teach live via virtual classroom and are available to answer questions if needed. You will need an internet connection and a computer/tablet/smart phone. Instructions will be sent to you via email a few days before the course begins. Please make sure your email is entered correctly when registering, you will be asked to enter the email you wish to receive the course information.   • SSP - ACT Prep Class Virtual with Live Instructor

    ACT PREPARATORY COURSES Virtual ACT Prep Course: This course is designed for students who prefer to prep for the ACT in a virtual classroom. Four, three-hour classes are taught live via zoom by an Advantage instructor. Internet connection and a computer or tablet is required. Advantage Educational Programs provides an introduction to the ACT format and strategies for answering questions as well as instruction for the specific subject areas to be tested on the ACT College Entrance Exam. This 12-hour prep course (four 3-hour classes) is designed for students who wish to improve their test-taking skills and overall score on the ACT. Focal points of the program include diagnostic testing, science reasoning, math review and strategies, reading comprehension improvement, English strategies, writing essays, overcoming test anxiety, and time management. Tuition for the ACT prep course is a one-time fee of only $150 and in addition, students who register for this course may repeat the classes in future offerings, at no additional charge. Classes are offered throughout the year. An ACT Student Workbook will be provided in the first class, and students need only to bring notebook paper, pencils, calculator, and a small 3-ring binder or folder to class.     This course is perfect for any student unable to attend in-school classes or a student preferring to prepare for the ACT exam on their own and at their desired pace. Online students prep for the ACT at their own pace and around their busy schedules. Instruction is pre-recorded and provided online via videos and slides. Students may access this course at any time and as often as needed. Please note that links to the online course are sent out once per week. Please allow one week to receive the information. The course will use instructors' videos, voice-overs, illustrations, and slides that guide you through all of the testing areas of the ACT. You will also be able to communicate with the instructor when you have questions or concerns. **You will need a gmail account to access the google classroom. Once students are enrolled, they are sent an access code for their class via email, as well as directions on how to begin the simple process of starting their class.
