Each year the State Fair displays crop art created by Minnesota artists. In this workshop, you will learn about the history behind this great tradition and see demostrations of the tips and tricks that make a piece of crop art successful. Then you'll make your own unique mosaic. Bring a design or borrow one of ours. All supplies provided.

Erin Stahl is a Teaching Artist and Park Educator for Caponi Art Park. Erin earned her BFA in Painting from Drake University and has been a mixed media artist, graphic designer, and community art teacher for over 20 years. While she teaches artists of all ages, helping kids ignite and nurture their creative spark is her favorite part of teaching and keeps her looking forward to her next class.
