Join Ms. Pichelman for a Yoga class based on Hatha and Vinyasa practices adapted for children’s bodies, minds, and energy. We will practice calming breath while seated, then move through poses, both seated and standing, finishing in final relaxation. These practices will help students learn how to focus, concentrate, and be calm even when challenged, skills they can use in their home and school lives! Ms. Kris Pichelman taught music part time at Mendota Elementary the past three years and also taught after school yoga and music enrichment classes during that time. Ms. Pichelman loves yoga and meditation, practicing regularly at yoga studios. She is trained in Yoga Calm, Kid’s Yoga through the National Exercise Trainers Association, and completed the 240 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course through Green Lotus in Mendota Heights this past summer.
