Explore Brainerd Lakes Welcome Center & Gift Shop. Use the washroom facilities and get a picture of the Paul Bunyan statue. This statue is 11.5-foot-tall and depicts Paul Bunyan sitting down on a stump with one hand on his knee and the other raised in the air waving to all of the area’s visitors. The new fiberglass statue was donated by Dutch and Irma Cragun for the Brainerd Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center, created by local artist Josh Porter.
