Learn stage skills, play theater games, and rehearse your favorite songs and scenes from The Wizard of Oz and Wicked! Showcase your skills in a special performance for family and friends on the last day of camp. Focus is put on developing imagination, social skills, and a positive self-image through the performing arts.

Dana Strothenke is the Education Manager for Character Kids, which provides after school theater classes and summer theater camps to elementary schools throughout the Twin Cities. In our classes, students learn the basics of acting, singing, and musical theater dance while playing theater games and having a lot of fun! Our classes are taught by local professional theater artists who create a safe and encouraging atmosphere for students to build character onstage and off!
