Ski Club

**Due to increasing costs to run the Ski Club program, we will not be offering Ski Club for the 25-26 school year.

Kung Fu (Ages 5 - adult) White-Blue Belt
Evening/Weekend/Non-School Day Classes

Learn kicking, punching, self-defense skills and build muscle, power, flexibility and agility. Improve your awareness, self-esteem and confidence. Join a FUN, progressive, full-participation class and learn skill building exercises that will strengthen the mind and body. Parents: Instead of waiting outside, sign up and participate with your child in class! Optional uniform and certification from White to Black Belt are available. Instructor: National Treasure Kung Fu, Inc., Al Lam – Director **Please note for the fall class, Nov 7 class will be at Pilot Knob (not Somerset).** Instructor Bio: National Treasure Kung Fu, Inc., is directed by Si-Fu Al Lam - International Master, Temple-trained in China. Si-Fu Al Lam, a Hong Kong champion, has over 35 years of teaching experience with youths & adults. He was the instructor of the University of Minnesota Chinese Kung Fu Club for 13 years and was awarded “Instructor of the Year” by the U of M Recreational Sports Department. Pee-Wee Warriors Winterguard (Grades: 2-6)
Evening/Weekend/Non-School Day Classes

Come and learn about Winterguard with TRHS Winterguard athletes and Head Coach Katie. Students grades 2-6 are invited to learn basic flag twirling and dance skills with our TRHS Winterguard team and apply those skills to a short routine! At the end of the 7 weeks, students will have the opportunity to perform at the home Winterguard competition on Saturday February 7th at Friendly Hills Middle School. **Students new to the activity will receive a TR Winterguard t-shirt

One-Day Class! Babysitter's Training/¡Clase de un día! Entrenamiento de niñera (Grades: 4-8)
Evening/Weekend/Non-School Day Classes

Discover the essential universal skills and techniques every babysitter should have. This one-day certification course teaches participants to take care of themselves and others by exploring basic care of infants and children, basic first aid, emergency protocols, home safety, child behavior, developmental milestones, age-appropriate activities, professionalism, leadership and more. We encourage both young men and women to attend this skill building course. Participants will receive a digital copy their Babysitter’s Training Certification and Babysitter’s Handbook via email the day before from Allison Curtis, please make sure your email is up-to-date. Please bring a nut free bag lunch and drink. Register Soon! Space is limited. An Emergency Medical Technician and former member of Red Cross’s Emergency First Responder Team, Instructor Allison Curtis is a passionate instructor of American Red Cross CPR and Babysitting with over 10 years of teaching experience. ¡Clase de un día! Entrenamiento de niñera/o (Grados: 4-8)! Este curso está diseñado para brindar a los jóvenes que planean cuidar niños el conocimiento y las habilidades necesarias para cuidar de manera segura y responsable a niños y bebés. Este curso de certificación de un día enseña a los participantes a cuidarse a sí mismos y a los demás al explorar el cuidado básico de bebés y niños, primeros auxilios básicos, protocolos de emergencia, seguridad en el hogar, comportamiento infantil, hitos del desarrollo, actividades apropiadas para la edad, profesionalismo, liderazgo y más. . Two Rivers Cheerleading Camp and Performance (Grades: K-5)
Evening/Weekend/Non-School Day Classes

The Two Rivers High School Cheerleaders are excited to host a one-day Cheer Camp on Saturday, December 13th for students in grades K–5! Participants will learn fun cheers and chants alongside our talented cheer squad, and they’ll get the amazing opportunity to perform on the sidelines during the Rosemont vs. Two Rivers Basketball Game, including a special halftime performance. The camp will run from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m participants can then attend the basketball game to perform at half-time. Clinic takes place at Two Rivers High School, and each cheerleader will receive a camp T-shirt to remember the day. **The basketball game starts at 1:30pm following the clinic, we estimate the half-time performance to take place sometime between 2-2:30pm. This is a fun, confidence-building experience your student won’t want to miss come cheer loud and proud with the Two Rivers Cheer Team! Please remember to pack a water bottle, nut-free snack and lunch for your child Wear comfortable athletic clothing and tennis shoes **Register by November 23rd to receive a t-shirt!
