  • Archery with Dodge Nature Center (Grades: 5-8)

    Archery with Dodge Nature Center **Only students participating in the ROCC Youth Leadership program after-school this school year can sign up for the ROCC section and rate. First time archers? Learn all the basics about bows and arrow in a safe and friendly environment. Experienced instructors will teach you everything you need to know to safely use bows and arrows. This class is a great entry into the sport of archery. Kids will be able to take the activity bus from Friendly Hills or Heritage to Dodge Nature Center You can also drop your student off at Dodge if you prefer at the Marie Entrance. **Kids will have to be picked up at Dodge Nature Center Marie Entrance, by 5pm by a parent or guardian--the activity bus is not provided to get home. If a student is picked up later than 5pm a charge will be applied by Dodge Nature Center for a late pick-up. Grades 5-8 welcome.     Design fabulous fashions and things for your room using paint, tissue paper, canvas, clay, yarn and more. We’ll make a fancy headband, clay pendants, a colorful decoupage bracelet, a funny hat and paint a colorful canvas for your room. We’ll even learn to weave. Invite your family to a fashion show on the last day to show off your creations. Bring a beverage and nut-free snack every day.

    So you have a baby! Infancy is a very important time in the life of your child as well as a wonderful and challenging time for you. Join other parents of infants and an expert parent educator to talk about your baby's development, safety, feeding, sleep, and "me time". Parents and babies stay together with time reserved for songs, finger plays and stories. This will be a relaxing and informative class where you can ask your questions, share your ideas and meet other families with young children.

  • Baseball/T-Ball Camp

    Baseball DASH Sports Summer Baseball camps provide players with a well-rounded experience in a fun environment. Key elements of throwing, fielding/catching, batting, and baserunning will be taught and practiced, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage on the final day. Athletes should wear sunscreen, bring a water bottle, snack, and a baseball glove (spikes and bats are optional). Baseballs and bats are provided. Baseball Tykes Looking for a fun introduction to baseball? DASH Sports baseball Tykes camp introduces players to key elements of throwing, fielding/catching, batting, and baserunning. The final day of classes is ‘Game Day’ and athletes will showcase their skills in a game environment. Athletes should bring a water bottle and a baseball glove. Baseballs and bats are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-3yr old age group and recommended when needed for the 4+ year old age group.

    Basic CPR/AED for Adult/Child & Infant This is an Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED Class. The class includes a two year certification and unlimited digital access to the student workbook from American Safety and Health Institute. The full CPR/AED course will include video instruction as well as an experienced instructor, dedicated to make the class fun and interesting. The course includes doing CPR on all ages, practice using an AED trainer, and care for choking victims of all ages. No written test required. Please wear comfortable clothing. Instructor: Deb Gutzman
