  • Summer Private Afternoon Swim Lessons (June 10-13) (Ages: 4-17)

    Learn to swim in a class customized just for you! This is a private 30-minute session with your child to work on water safety, stroke enhancement or specific skills that need work. This is a great option for children that need the extra one-on-one time with an instructor.
  • Summer Jazz at TRHS (Grades: 6-12)

    Join us for a Summer Jazz class--open to incoming 6-12th graders Fall of 2024! Students in Summer Jazz will play jazz classics as well as contemporary jazz tunes. It is open to any Fall 2024 incoming 6th-12th grade student who plays saxophone, trumpet, trombone, piano, bass, drum set, electric guitar, or vibraphone. There will be 1-2 off-site performance opportunities that will be optional. The summer session will conclude with a concert open to the public.   • Warriors Speed and Agility Camp (Grades: 6-9)

    This 4-day camp is offered to 6th-9th graders regardless of sport and skill level. SAQ (Speed, Agility, and Quickness) is a system of training aimed at the development of motor abilities and the control of body movement through the development of the neuromuscular system. It aims to improve the athlete's ability to perform many multi-directional movements by progressively breaking down the key movements around the most efficient way to gain speed & change direction/quickness. Camp Director, Tyrell Martin, is a Two Rivers Alum, and past Varsity Football & Wrestling coach at Two Rivers HS. He also is the business owner of an athletic development company. “My mission is to motivate and inspire others to reach and exceed the attainable goals in their sport. To remind athletes that true motivation & drive comes from inside yourself. That you can look at a challenge and smile. I want to help you improve, whether that’s from going from the bench to a starter, high school athlete to collegiate athlete, or even collegiate to professional.”

    Warrior Track & Field Camp Join The Warrior Track and Field Coaches and Athletes for a fun, energizing week at their new track and field facility! We will keep your young track star moving, improving and building confidence as they run, jump and throw all week long. Age appropriate instruction developed by the varsity coaching staff. Coaches will be at camp to lead the way. High school athletes will assist coaches and campers and help make the week fun and memorable. We can't wait to meet your track and field star! Description of camp: 5-8 Track & Field Camp will focus on learning more about the sport of track and field by working with high school coaches and athletes. Middle schoolers will participate in games and track & field drills focused on building speed, strength and agility. They will also spend time practicing the proper technique for field events, learn about relay exchanges and how to use the starting blocks. We will end the week with an abbreviated track and field meet. Camp is gender inclusive. Coaches and staff will work to accomodate all youth who have a desire to participate regardless of ability. Please add a note in registration if you would like one of the coaches to reach out to you to discuss how we can meet your child's needs. What to Bring: All participants should wear tennis shoes, comfortable clothing to run and play in and a water bottle or two with their name on it. We will host camp outdoors rain or shine. Drop off/Pick up Please drop off and pick up your child at the main entrance to the track and field/Warrior Field. On Monday, please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early for check-in. **Register by May 20th to receive a t-shirt. No late t-shirts orders will be taken--we need to allow time to put the order together and place the order so t-shirts arrive in time for camp.     This course is designed to provide youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This one-day certification course teaches participants to take care of themselves and others by exploring basic care of infants and children, basic first aid, emergency protocols, home safety, child behavior, developmental milestones, age-appropriate activities, professionalism, leadership and more. Participants will receive a digital copy their Babysitter’s Training Certification and Babysitter’s Handbook via email the day before from Allison Curtis, please make sure your email is up-to-date.   • Warriors Youth Soccer Summer Camp/Campamento de verano de fútbol para jóvenes (Ages 8-14)

    This camp is offered to all youth ages 8-14 regardless of club affiliation or skill level. Focus will be on age-appropriate skill development including dribbling, possession, passing/receiving, and finishing. Emphasis will be on teaching the fundamentals of the game, developing and improving individual skills based on current ability, and encouraging a team mentality. Camp Director, Terry Doud, is the Two Rivers High School Boys Head Coach and will be assisted by players from the boys varsity team that have been trained by him. This is a fundraiser for Two Rivers Youth Soccer, proceeds go directly to the Two Rivers Youth Soccer Booster Club. Drop off and pick up is at Warrior Field at Two Rivers High School. Please arrive 10-15 mins early for check-in. Campers should bring: *Soccer ball *Proper athletic shoes (cleats not required) and shin guards (required) * Appropriate clothing for the weather (shorts, socks, outerwear) * Filled Water Bottle * Positive attitude to learn and have fun!   • June Camp: Hogwarts Film School & STEAM Camp with Tech Academy (Grades: 1-4)

    Create your own stop-motion animation using characters from the Harry Potter and Fantastical Beasts series. Students will build and design magical-themed scenes and props. Then, they will handle all the technical details of filming scenes, including stop-motion, digital editing, special effects, and transitions to the movie. Students will create digital animations and participate in our Harry Potter-themed STEAM activities. Bring a USB drive on the last day.
  • Intro to Songwriting and Music Production Camp (Grades: 5-9)

    This summer camp intensive is for aspiring songwriters and producers and a good precursor to the TRHS music production course. The five-day camp guides students on the essentials of writing, recording and producing original music through the use of GarageBand, a DAW (digital audio workstation) that comes with every apple device. By learning how to record live instruments into GarageBand, as well as utilize its built in drum machines and MIDI instruments, students will not only conclude the course with an original song to share, but will be able to make beats, use MIDI instruments, record, mix and arrange using GarageBand for future compositions. This class may require the use of a personal iPhone, iPad, chromebook or Mac laptop computer. Day 1: Intro to songwriting essentials and the basics of GarageBand and drum programming. Students will pick a key/meter for their song project and begin writing drum beats and bass lines. Day 2: Intro to song form, MIDI instruments, synthesizers and arpeggiators. Students will determine the basic form of their song project and build on their drum beat and bass line. Day 3: Discuss how to write a strong melody and counter melody and learn the essentials about song orchestration. Students will begin writing a melody, counter melody and add chording instrumentation. Day 4: Intro to recording live instruments into GarageBand. Students will experiment with adding live instruments to their projects. Day 5: Intro to editing and mixing with GarageBand. Students will begin finalizing their song project and editing/mixing it. Day will conclude with project sharing and feedback.

If you are a Middle School student, we want you to join the Two Rivers Debate team to learn more about this activity at a one day workshop. During this workshop students will see a live debate and learn about the skills required to participate. Attendees will have a chance to meet current competitors and ask questions about the activity. Instructor: Ben Geiger--High School Debate and Speech Team Coach This camp is for kids entering grades 6-9 in the Fall of 2023.     Join in on the fun for an all day chess camp! Everyone is welcome to come get a greater understanding in this Royal Game! Whether you are new to chess or an experienced player there will be material covered for all! We will go over opening theory, 2 openings, tactics, endgames and fun variations of chess. Other activities include a rocket building, outdoor breaks with organized games, team building exercises and a chance to make new friends and see old ones! Each activity is inclusive with a positive fun environment no matter your skill level! Please remember to pack some sunscreen, sack lunch, rocket garage (shoe box) and a water bottle! Don’t forget the smiling face! Rocket launch will be at 2:30pm Thursday for family members that would like to attend, guaranteed to be a blast!     Artistic swimming (formally known as synchronized swimming) is a hybrid form of swimming, gymnastics, and dance. Students in this class will learn fundamental skills and dynamic underwater movements (formerly known as figures). For ages 6 to 36 months accompanied by a parent or guardian in the water. Parents and children learn together with fun activities to increase a child's comfort level in the water and build a foundation of basic skills, such as arm and leg movements, breath control as well as water safety. Water diapers are required for infants and toddlers who aren't trained. Course format: Classes run 30 minutes with 6 parent/child pairs per instructor.
