    ACT PREPARATORY COURSES Advantage Educational Programs provides an introduction to the ACT format and strategies for answering questions as well as instruction for the specific subject areas to be tested on the ACT College Entrance Exam. This 12-hour prep course (four 3-hour classes) is designed for students who wish to improve their test-taking skills and overall score on the ACT. Focal points of the program include diagnostic testing, science reasoning, math review and strategies, reading comprehension improvement, English strategies, writing essays, overcoming test anxiety, and time management. Tuition for the ACT prep course is a one-time fee of only $150 and in addition, students who register for this course may repeat the classes in future offerings, at no additional charge. Classes are offered throughout the year. An ACT Student Workbook will be provided in the first class, and students need only to bring notebook paper, pencils, calculator, and a small 3-ring binder or folder to class.     In-School ACT Preparatory Course This course consists of four, three-hour classes that meet one day each week at Henry Sibley High School. The course includes diagnostic testing, instruction in time management, overcoming test anxiety, science reasoning, English strategies and review, essay writing, reading comprehension, and math strategies and review. Students enrolled in these classes not only benefit from personal instruction taught by our experienced instructors, but also have free access to our online course. Students who complete a course may repeat the course as often as they wish, free of charge using the online version. The fee for this course is $150, with all class materials included. **At this time, 12th graders will get priority for registrations to ensure readiness for the October 6th ACT test. ALL REGISTRATIONS WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE PUT ON THE WAITLIST. We will manually add students who qualify (graduation year 2021) on a first come, first served basis.   • Online ACT Prep Course

    Online ACT Preparatory Course This course is an excellent alternative for any student unable to attend in-school classes or for a student preferring to prepare for the ACT exam on their own, and study at their desired pace. The fee for this course is $60, and you may repeat the course at no charge until you graduate from high school. The online ACT prep class will be available starting 7/22/2020. You can register anytime during the fall with online access ending on December 31, 2020. You will be able to re-register free of charge after January 1, 2021 if you still need access to materials. The online course will allow students to log-in for the course and proceed at their own pace. The course will be using Google to present the online course and it will be equivalent to the 12 hour classroom time. Once students are enrolled, they are sent an access code for their class via email, as well as directions on how to begin the simple process of starting their class. Prior to class, students will go to the classroom website and type in the code to join the class.     ACT ONLINE PREPARATORY COURSES This course is a good alternative for any student unable to attend in-school classes or a student preferring to prepare for the ACT exam on their own and at their desired pace. Once enrolled, students are sent an access code for their class via email and can begin preparing anytime between July 21 through December 31. Understand Islam's pillars which include Shahadah (declaration of faith), Salat (daily prayers), Zakat (special tax given to the poor), Sawn (fasting) and Hajj (pilgrimage). Understanding the social structure of the Muslim population and learning basic information about social interaction. Class is interactive and there is time for Q/A along with a light dinner served.
