    We’re Off to See the Wizard! Come learn songs and dances and put on a musical! Everyone will learn how to put together a professional show from start to finish. Learn how to properly speak your lines, block a scene, develop your character and much more! All that is needed are comfortable clothing and shoes. Friends and family are invited to a special performance beginning the final 30 minutes of the final class. Taught by Mayer Arts

    Calling all future engineers! It’s time to develop your critical thinking, problem solving and collaboration skills through engineering disciplines. Jump into an exciting new school year with all-new lessons! Whether you're a new or returning student, the Engineering For Kids Jr. Engineering/STEM Club offers hands-on, engaging activities each week to spark curiosity and creativity. Students will explore engineering concepts while developing essential 21st-century skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork—building confidence to tackle challenges in and out of the classroom. Winter Session: Order may vary: Aerospace Engineering Blast off into aerospace engineering! Students explore the principles of flight and build a paper cup rocket to launch high into the air. Environmental Engineering Pinwheel Harness the power of wind! Students learn how moving air can create energy, then design and build a colorful pinwheel using the Engineering Design Process. Mechanical Engineering Sled Speed into transportation engineering! Students design and test a miniature sled, exploring friction, speed, and stability. Civil Engineering Bird's Nest Think like nature’s engineers! Students study how birds build nests, then design and construct a nest sturdy enough to protect a real or model egg. Mechanical Engineering Snowball Launcher Ready, aim, launch! Students learn how catapults work, then engineer their own snowball launcher for maximum distance and accuracy. Optical Engineering Kaleidoscope See the world in dazzling patterns! Students discover how mirrors and shapes create symmetrical designs, then build their own kaleidoscope.

    Prepare your child for a global world with a 16 week or 8 week adventure in Spanish! Through Futura’s dynamic and interactive approach, students will practice useful Spanish expressions in fun, real-life contexts. There will be 3 options for this class, register for one that works best for you: 1. 16 week course-both Fall and Winter Session: Topics-- Let’s Travel! & Let's Explore! 2. First 8 weeks- Fall session: Topic: Let's Travel! Hop aboard for an exciting Spanish adventure in ¡Vamos a Viajar! (Let’s Travel!) In this hands-on course, students will learn key travel phrases, order on a plane, use passports, and ask for prices—all in Spanish! With engaging activities and real-world scenarios, they’ll be speaking Spanish in no time. 3. Second 8 weeks-Winter Session: Topic: Let's Explore! Ready to discover places and have a Spanish adventure? This interactive course ¡Vamos a Explorar! (Let’s Explore!), focuses on practical travel vocabulary, like bartering at markets and ordering at restaurants. Through dynamic activities, students will build confidence in speaking Spanish while exploring vibrant traditions. Get ready to explore, connect, and develop a deeper appreciation for the Spanish language in an exciting and supportive environment. ¡Vámonos! Futura Language Professionals is a community-based language organization. We have been a leader and a pioneer in Spanish language programming since 2001. We are proud to say that thousands of children have been touched by foreign language instruction because of Futura programming. We partner with local schools in our communities to provide a convenient, onsite and long-term language program at an affordable price. Who instructs the Futura classes? Our teachers come from a wide range of backgrounds from former Spanish teachers with Masters Degrees in Education who are now stay at home moms, to native speakers who want to share their language and culture with us, to juniors and seniors majoring in Education or Spanish in college. All of our teachers have fluency or near fluency in the Spanish language and experience working with children. Additionally, most Futura instructors have lived or studied in Spanish speaking countries.

Mechanical Engineering Bouncy Ball Bounce into chemistry! Students learn about polymers by mixing and molding their own bouncy ball. Mechanical Engineering Mini Trampoline Spring into action! Students explore elasticity and energy transfer as they build and test a mini trampoline. Civil Engineering Bird's Self-Propelled Boat Make a splash with engineering! Students learn about buoyancy and propulsion, then create a boat that moves on its own. Mechanical Engineering Straw Grabber Grab, lift, and move like a pro! Students investigate simple machines, then build a straw-based grabber to pick up small objects. Electrical Engineering Constellation Projector Light up the night sky! Students learn about circuits and astronomy while creating a projector that displays constellations on the wall or ceiling.
