Apple Hand Pies
Join us in baking some delicious handheld apple pies you can hold in your hand. Everyone will make two hand pies. Participants can eat one at Branch Out and take the other one home to enjoy later. There is no cost for caregivers to attend. -
Bingo Night with Access Project
Bingo is back and better than ever at Branch Out. Come on over to play bingo, have fun, and meet new people. Prizes will be available for all participants, win or lose. Food and beverages will not be provided. There is no cost for caregivers to assist. -
Branch Out/Hang Out
Join us at the Branch Out building for a fun night of hanging out. Get ready to spend a Friday evening hanging out, watching a movie, playing some games, and enjoying some snacks and pizza. Feel free to bring a game to share with other Hang Out participants. Pre-registration is not required, but appreciated to manage food ordering. There is no cost for caregivers to attend. -
End of Summer Picnic Party
Join Access Project in celebrating the end of summer with great food, rootbeer floats, yard games, music, and most importantly, friends. There will be an indoor space available so come rain or shine. There is no cost for caregivers to assist. Early-bird online registration pricing is $8 until Wednesday, August 17th. In-person registration pricing at event is $10. -
Fall Chalkboard Sign
It’s time for all things autumn. Create a fall-themed chalkboard sign that can be used as a welcoming home decoration or as a party sign. There is no cost for caregivers to assist. -
First Class Fitness with Mark Krey
Mark Krey is back in this hybrid format fitness class. Come on down to Branch Out for a fun workout, or connect via Zoom if you want to be in the comfort of your own home. This fitness class consists of a 10 minute warm-up, a half-hour varied aerobic workout, and a 10 minute cooldown to end the class. Strength training may be included in the class. Modified versions of the workouts are offered so everyone can achieve success. Strength training equipment such as weights are not required. There is no cost for caregivers to assist. -
Fleece Owl Hand Warmers
When winter comes, so does the cold. Keep hands warm with these fun owl warmers. They are filled with rice and can be heated in the microwave. You can use these warmers over and over again. There is no cost for caregivers to assist. -
Loaded Tater Tot Skewers
This is a class you don’t want to miss. These skewered tater tots are loaded with gooey melted cheese, bacon bits, and whatever else you like to put on them. Best come with an appetite. Participants will want to eat this scrumptious meal as soon as they are done. There is no cost for caregivers to assist. -
No Bake Pumpkin Pie in a Jar
All things pumpkin and spice make our fall ever so nice. Come learn how to make this easy dessert that will impress everyone during the holiday season. There is no cost for caregivers to attend. -
Pizza Bagels
Need a quick and easy dinner or lunch? Pizza bagels are here to the rescue. These little pizzas are easy to make and fulfill your pizza craving without the long wait. Stay afterwards to eat these tasty pizzas. There is no cost for caregivers to attend. -
Shrinky Dinks
Who doesn’t love shrinky dinks? Come for a relaxing evening of coloring. Then watch your creations shrink down in size. There will be plenty of sheets to color so come ready to create. There is no cost for caregivers to assist. -
Sip and Paint - Winter Scene
Join Access Staff in painting a winter-scene. In this casual class, staff will guide participants through the painting while enjoying some beverages like hot cocoa or soda. There is no cost for caregivers to assist. -
Take the Stage
Come enjoy an evening of entertainment, where you can share your talent, a story, or some jokes on stage. If you are unsure about taking the stage, you can sign-up to share your talent when you arrive. Pre-registration is not required but appreciated to prepare the stage. Performers should let us know ahead of time if specific items are needed. There is no cost for caregivers to attend. -
What to do in an Emergency
Come join us at Branch Out and district safety instructor, Mario, to learn what an emergency is and what to do when one happens. There will be a meet and greet with local WSP police officers as well as an interactive activity where participants can practice talking with a dispatcher. Access Project will have information for caregivers as well.
