Colored Pencil Bathing
Immerse Your Senses In Colored Pencil Painting In this technology-isolating world, we need a place to let out our inner artist by indulging our senses and connecting with others who have common interests. Join us as your busy schedule allows. Bring your favorite pencils, art supplies and projects to work on, or use the supplies provided. An activity, from a line drawing for painting to trying other mediums such as painting with acrylics, will be provided along with soothing music and friendly, welcoming members. 1st and 3rd Wednesdays The fee is $15 per person per trimester. -
Crafting for a Cause
Create simple notes of cheer and kindness in a social setting with other volunteers. These notes will be included within Meals on Wheels™ bags delivered to our neighbors to brighten their day. Supplies are provided. Facilitator: Pat Marshall Second Tuesdays 12-1 pm Free Please register. -
Mandala Rock Art
Mandalas are everywhere lately and are widely used for relaxation through coloring, mosaics, and so much more. This class will feature a presentation on Mandalas, their meaning, history, as well as many different styles of Mandalas you can consider painting on your rocks. Includes all of the materials you will need: natural beach stones, paints, brushes, tools, and inspiration! You can make as many Mandala Rocks as you want in the time we meet. No Sew Gnomes
Join us for a class where you will make two adorable gnomes. All supplies will be provided for making cute no-sew gnomes (approximately 12 inches tall). Make both gnomes for yourself or keep one and give the other away as a gift. We are using hot glue guns, so a comfort level with that tool is needed. Presented by Minnesota Makers -

Paint Like the Masters
Using acrylic paint in the style of one of the masters, create your own version of a landscape, still life, floral, portrait, etc. Subjects and artists are to be determined. Project Mat Making - Umbrella Group
The Umbrella Group is organizing this service project -- crocheting plastic bags into sleeping mats for the homeless population. You do not have to know how to crochet to participate. Your skills can be used in sorting bag types, cutting "plarn" (plastic yarn), or learning to crochet from others. This is a team effort and takes many human-hours to complete a mat! If you're feeling ambitious, some work can be done at home between meeting dates. 4th Tuesdays 1-3 pm No Fee Please register in advance. Space is limited. -
Sewing at TPAC
This class is for individuals who have very little or no experience with a needle. Hands-on instruction will be given on threading and using a sewing machine, fabrics, tools and notions. If your future goal is to sew quilt crafts or follow a clothing pattern, we will start that journey together. All necessary equipment and supplies are provided. Watercolor Introduction
Start learning how to paint with watercolors! Explore materials and basic watercolor techniques as well as color theory and color mixing. Create a painting or two you'll be proud of! Supplies may be purchased from the instructor. A supply fee of $45 is due at the at class.
