This second-generation family-owned winery produces uniquely delicious fine and signature wines. The Bredeson family uses a combination of ancient and modern techniques to produce award-winning Minnesota wines. On this tour you will visit the vineyards and the production area. There is an incline and guests should be prepared to walk a mile or so on the tour. Next, arrive in La Crosse, WI, and board the LaCrosse Queen, a modern-day replica of the grand riverboats that plied the Mississippi River in the late 19th Century. Once aboard you will enjoy a buffet luncheon in the main cabin. While aboard, take in the scenic treasures of the Mississippi River including one of the oldest swing bridges still in operation today, wild life, Lock and Dam #7, and other historic sites.   • Schell's Brewery & New Ulm Tour WSP

    Register here to board the bus at Thompson Park: Arrive at the New Ulm Visitor's Center to meet our local tour guide, who will narrate a 2-hour bus tour of this Bavarian village. New Ulm's history and points of interest will be shared, including downtown architecture, Herman Monument, Governor Lind's home, author Wanda Gag's home and other historic structures. The village tour will conclude with a performance by the Glockenspiel Musical Tower housing 37 bells. Lunch will be at Kaiserhoff Resaurant. The afternoon will include a walking tour of Schell's Brewery old brew house (including a view of the modern production), museum, historic buildings on the grounds, beer sampling, garden walk, and gift shop.To enjoy this tour, you will need to walk or stand for over an hour.     Register here to board the bus at Thompson Park Activity Center: Spirit of Hastings Visit the LeDuc Historic Estate and hear the history of the LeDuc Family and tales about manifestations of spiritual visitors. This 15-room mansion stands as a rare monument of unaltered Gothic Revival architecture. It features a picturesque tower, a limestone exterior, 20-inch-thick walls, a prominent front porch, chimneys for 10 fireplaces and a third-floor chapel with a white pine interior. Tour both the first and second floor. Note: there is not an elevator. Those who want to go outside can visit the carriage barn and simmons shed. Lunch will be in the parlor. Tour St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, the fifth oldest church in the diocese and was organized as a mission in 1850. Church pews, built of butternut wood and installed in 1867, are still used today. Two small matching pews are found in the chapel of the LeDuc Mansion. Visit the Alexis Bailly Vineyard to taste and purchase wine. In 1973, the family planted the first vineyard in Minnesota with a pioneering spirit that has brought them unlikely fame in the wine world.
